Her birthday just happened to fall a little after Easter, and so when we went shopping, we found some cute little Easter things. The basket was originally intended to hold all the silk flowers that I was sending for her birthday! Somehow, the Easter stuff took over. But we had fun putting it together, and I was reminded of all the amazing baskets I use to get as a kid. All the way up til I was a teenager (and maybe beyond) my Mom made the most amazing Easter baskets, full of candy (of course) beautiful stuffed animals, and a new Beatrix Potter figurine every year. I can't think of Easter and not think of my childhood and looking forward to what would be in my Easter basket. I was very lucky to have such loving parents, and parents who could give me such things. Thank you Mom! I love you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
